This certified Organic Coconut Oil RBD (Refined, Bleached and Deodorized) is widely used in soap making, giving cold process soap a rich lather and skin feel. The coconut oil is extracted from the meat of the coconut. The refining process removes the coconut taste and scent, leaving a clean product with a whitish color. Due to its high content of saturated fatty acids, primarily Lauric Acid (C12:0), the oil is solid at room temperature and highly resistant to rancidity.
It is excellent to form a barrier on the skin and absorbs quickly into the skin. Coconut oil can be used as a skin moisturizer, helping with dry skin.
